(After yesterday's riddle ..)

Oh, this Malyss again ! She knows how to attract attention ! A riddle for readers , I should have thought about it before her ! |

Don't be ridiculous! If she needs a riddle to attract attention, it means she has nothing else to offer ! Poor girl! |

Anyway, I'd like to have a blog too, and , like her, to get readers and friends from all over the world.. (sigh) |

Who needs readers when one's have such a nice boyfriend ?! .. |

Only James (and Pascaline) were able to guess that we were beginning to visit
the famous Hotel NEGRESCO, and celebrating its 100 years !
Dear James, if one day you walk here,
I'm wondering what you'll hear when passing by in front of this painting ...

Quel billet absolument fabuleux !!!
Charming! :) I would love to visit this hotel.

Ca, c'est de de la BD classe and charme!...
oh, malyss, i would love to travel the museums of the world with you where you could "talk" the paintings and sculptures for me. i'd never mind being inside again.
Enjoyed this one... I chuckled a bit.
I would never have guessed the answer yesterday Malyss! I love the way you've taken 'cameos' from the painting to tell your story! Hotel Negresco looks absolutely amazing, I'm so coming to stay when I win that elusive lottery!!
Good one. I guess I was way off with my WAG.
fun commentary
the painting is stunning
I love how you captured pieces of it so beautifully
Great post Malyss! I really enjoyed it and I'm still smiling! :-)
Someday I hope to walk by this painting and hear what it says to me.
Coincidentally I had a riddle for you the other day but I forgot to leave it. So here it is.
There is a window in Nice with these words written on it.
"De père en fils depuis 1820"
Do you know the shop?
@James : "Auer, chocolatier-confiseur de père en fils depuis 1820" is the first that comes to my mind.
You are so clever, Ms. Malyss. You show us little snippets and then you unveil the huge complete painting. It is wonderful. The hotel is probably also amazing, just like the amazing blogger Ms. Malyss. Who is nowhere near 100 years old this year.
Absolutely stunning! It is a beautiful 100 year old! Thanks for sharing with me as I may never get an opportunity to visit it myself.
Paulie
Grande comédie et belle mise en scène! Bravo et merci : tu m'as fais rire!
